Born in the Garden State (USA) and raised with three brothers in the Black Forest, I began early on to explore the social and cultural dimensions of everyday life - particularly from a female
perspective. This sparked my interest in understanding the ordinary as both an artistic and societal field of research.
I studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and later returned to California, where I worked as a designer in communication, interior, and fashion. A subsequent Master’s
program in Art in Context at the Berlin University of the Arts deepened my engagement with the social dimensions of artistic practice.
My work unfolds at the intersection of social observation, artistic research, and everyday poetry. I am interested in how people shape their worlds—through gestures, routines, and
relationships—and how cultural identity emerges from these lived experiences.
I understand my practice as an open, participatory field. Through observation, research, and intervention, I approach social realities and explore how individual forms of expression manifest
within the tension between society, gender, and self-perception. Encounter becomes the central artistic moment—a space in which new perspectives can arise.
In my recent works, I increasingly examine the mechanisms of inner and outer adaptation: Why do we hold ourselves back, allow ourselves to be silenced, instead of finding the courage to see life
as a continuous possibility? Every experience, every irritation, every encounter opens up a new field of experimentation—an invitation to renegotiate the meaning of our existence.

Geboren im Garden State, USA, wuchs ich in einer Umgebung voller Offenheit und Vielfalt auf. Meine Schulzeit im Schwarzwald, geprägt von drei Brüdern und dem Erbe meiner weiblichen Vorfahren, weckte früh mein Interesse an Identität, Familie und sozialen Strukturen.
Work-&-Travel-Aufenthalte in Kalifornien und Florida führten zu ersten künstlerischen Feldforschungen, in denen ich Alltag und soziale Dynamiken unterschiedlicher Gemeinschaften beobachtete und ihren kulturellen Einfluss auf das Umfeld untersuchte.
Mein Studium der Visuellen Kommunikation an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin und die Arbeit als Designerin in Kalifornien erweiterten meine gestalterischen Fähigkeiten. Ein Master in »Art in Context« an der Berliner Universität der Künste vertiefte mein Interesse an den gesellschaftlichen Dimensionen künstlerischer Praxis und der Rolle von Kunst im öffentlichen Raum.
Im Zentrum meiner Arbeit stehen soziale Realitäten und individuelle Ausdruckskraft. Durch Beobachtung, Recherche und künstlerische Interventionen erforsche ich, wie Menschen ihren Alltag gestalten, kulturelle Identität entsteht und welche unbewussten Regeln unsere Interaktionen prägen. Jede Erfahrung, jede Begegnung wird für mich zu einem Experimentierfeld - einer Einladung, die Bedeutung von Existenz immer wieder neu auszuhandeln.
